PHOTOMETRIC SAFARI- $400/evening
(up to two users on a team) With the flood of new exoplanet discoveries as well as the enormous number of variable stars that require long-term observations, a Photometric Safari will provide you with an astronomy professional who can assist you as you operate a remote, research-grade telescope system optimized for photometric imaging. While you may already be conducting photometric work in your backyard using a small telescope; but your limited aperture and light-polluted skies severely restrict the number of targets that you can capture. TELESCOPE SAFARI will provide the needed equipment among some of the darkest skies in the U.S.; along with a telescope guide who will insure that you get successful photometric curves down to Mag. 14. |
